Who I Am
Noctilucent clouds - I'm a nocturnal creature more than diurnal, guilty.

Linda Engelsgaard is the Norwegian-born author of Aqwaeris: The Cycle of Korza, an epic high fantasy series. Her love of reading began at the age of three and led her to the worlds of J.R.R. Tolkien and Robin Hobb, as well as the storytelling craft of Stephen King. Fluent in English and having lived in the United Kingdom, Engelsgaard brings a broad cross-cultural perspective to her writing.

A self-described 'Jenny-of-all-trades,' she has worked in diverse roles—from barista and truck driver to survey interviewer and welder—cultivating keen observation of human behaviour and a deep appreciation for nature. Since her teens, she has embraced a philosophical lens on life, enjoying non-linear thinking, layered ideas, and the long lines of society and culture.

Living with ADHD, Engelsgaard channels its energy into bursts of hyper-focused creativity, producing rich, unconventional storytelling. Her work blends intricate worldbuilding with explorations of character, morality, society, and the natural world, blending curiosity, reflection, and keen insight.

Writing is fun, but writing about myself, not so much: I outsourced my bio to AI and fed it facts.
